What you'll learn

• Choosing a server type — local hosting vs. VPS vs. dedicated server: the real trade-offs, not just marketing copy.
• Choosing a server provider — why we're using OVHcloud as our training ground, and what to look for when you eventually shop around.
• Creating an OVHcloud account — getting signed up and ready to order.
• Renting a Windows VPS on OVHcloud — navigating the dashboard, picking a plan, choosing a datacenter near your players, and completing checkout.
• Setting the administrator password — connecting to your new server through the browser using KVM and getting logged in for the first time.
